Indigenous led Innovation for Band Offices
Our Story
Indigomation was founded by John Bernard, Justin Bernard, and Matthew Meyer, all members of the Madawaska Maliseet First Nation. The idea came from John’s experience with the slow, paper-based BCR process in his community. Seeing the potential for a digital solution, he teamed up with his son Justin, a software developer, and Matthew, who brought experience in Indigenous administration and funding. Together, they’re building tools that streamline Indigenous governance and support self-determination through smart, community-driven technology.
